The anti-sexual harassment law of India i.e. Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 will complete a decade of implementation on 9th December 2023. Tips to keep safe in the Metaverse -

The British police are probing the case of the rape of a 16-year-old in the virtual reality world of the metaverse. While this is the first time a probe has been initiated, this isn't the first complaint of sexual assault on avatars of women in the virtual reality world. Psychotherapist Nina Jane Patel, who is the co-founder at Kabuni- which works towards making metaverse a safe space for children, was among the first women to flag sexual assault on avatars in virtual reality, and the physiological & psychological trauma it leaves on them.
