    Internationally recognized, the Crimes Against Children Conference is the largest conference of its kind, providing practical and interactive instruction to those fighting crimes against children and helping children heal.


    The conference is presented annually by the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. The conference is conducted to provide training to those employed by government or nonprofit agencies in the fields of law enforcement, child protective services, social work, children’s advocacy, therapy, and medicine who work directly with child victims of crime.


    This session will address the complex and evolving world of the Metaverse, with a spotlight on its core technologies like virtual/augmented reality, spatial computing, blockchain, and AI. The presenters will discuss the serious risks children face in these digital spaces, such as online predation, cyberbullying, and exposure to inappropriate content, as well as their impact on mental and physical health. The presentation provides vital information on safeguarding children in an increasingly digital era, emphasizing proactive protection strategies. A must-attend for anyone interested in the next evolution of technology and how it pertains to child safety.

    Tips to keep safe in the Metaverse -

    The British police are probing the case of the rape of a 16-year-old in the virtual reality world of the metaverse. While this is the first time a probe has been initiated, this isn't the first complaint of sexual assault on avatars of women in the virtual reality world. Psychotherapist Nina Jane Patel, who is the co-founder at Kabuni- which works towards making metaverse a safe space for children, was among the first women to flag sexual assault on avatars in virtual reality, and the physiological & psychological trauma it leaves on them.
